I first want to apologize to the few people who will not read throught this whole entire post. This is a live transcript…nothing has been edited. I know this makes it not as fun and exciting to read, you’ll have to deal with it though. I promise big rewards and breakthough thoughts if you do practice discipline and patience in reading every word of this post.

What are your suggestions and advice.The niche that I was building a site on was tattoos, and I read in the warriors forum that it is a useless niche and no one spends any money on that , so I decided to just let it go

[21:32] MpyreDzirez: so what are some other ideas you had in mind for niches…how do you get your ideas?
[21:32] awakenedmind2000: Till now , I have only been using nichebot to find niches
[21:32] MpyreDzirez: Travis is awesome…me and him talk all the time…mostly about sales letter techniques
[21:32] awakenedmind2000: I had also looked for what is the buzz about and there I found about tattoos.

[21:33] awakenedmind2000: but then i found that people dont spend on tattoos.
[21:33] MpyreDzirez: because of Miami ink the tv show
[21:33] MpyreDzirez: they don’t spend online for them thats the prob
[21:34] awakenedmind2000: But then I also saw that there are books on tattoos in clickbank and their ref% is like 60% and above
[21:34] awakenedmind2000: it means that they are making sales. But maybe it would need more experience to make sales like those
[21:34] MpyreDzirez: whats the title i’ll look it up with the WA clickbank tool it will tell me the truth about it

Japanese Kanji Symbols– It is a great site related to japanese kanji symbols. It explains the different types of japanese scripts and symbols and even the meaning of the symbols. I think they even give a book free, although I am not sure if they are still giving it. If you dont want to make a mistake in your tatoo symbols , you better check out this site

[23:04] awakenedmind2000: well, I found that some people are looking for tatoo designs for the ribs while some want have seen a good design, which does not umm, click with them and they are looking for a better design
[23:06] MpyreDzirez: keep looking…you are looking for a common problem that lots of people are having….and also if there are any hints to what they always buy
[23:06] awakenedmind2000: some people had seen a design on someone and cant find it again
[23:07] MpyreDzirez: this is how you research a niche
[23:07] MpyreDzirez: the right way
[23:07] awakenedmind2000: I think that the most common problem is that people have a vague idea of a design and are unable to explain it to the tatoo artist. they would like to see pictures. They would like to see their vague ideas about designs on real life pics.

[23:08] awakenedmind2000: yes, this seems to be good research.
[23:08] MpyreDzirez: you first have to know what a fish is hungry for in order to know which bait to use
[23:10] awakenedmind2000: but, there is one problem . the questions are being answered with links to different sites, which is sort of answering their questions. I mean, they are getting their questions answered for free and are able to see a lot of designs for free.
[23:10] MpyreDzirez: so you are seeing with your own eyes the problem with your niche
[23:10] awakenedmind2000: so, why would they buy a book
[23:10] awakenedmind2000: yeah
[23:11] MpyreDzirez: and now we know that it sucks to do all this other work…before we research a niche properly
[23:11] awakenedmind2000: yeah. But I am still wondering how these books on clickbank and amazon are being sold
[23:12] MpyreDzirez: its probably those sites that advertise like every clickbank product
[23:12] MpyreDzirez: and then a random person happens to buy on of the tattoo ones
[23:12] MpyreDzirez: and it’s porbably someone that does tattoo’s

[23:13] awakenedmind2000: then there’s no use going with this niche or maybe I should just let the adsense run and hope that someone may buy a book

[23:15] MpyreDzirez: looking at leaders in this niche and seeing what they advertise
[23:15] MpyreDzirez: also amazon.com has a feature that says this person also bought such and such
[23:15] awakenedmind2000: and how do i find the leaders in that niche

[23:16] MpyreDzirez: basically you type in the keywords to your niche and look for the guy who has the number one spot

[23:25] MpyreDzirez: often on amazon people review these products….take notes and add the reviews to your site also

Whew…! If you are still with me I bet you are super excited to go out and do real niche research. I wanted to teach him a lesson by working on his website first and then doing research…notice how the research pointed out that everything we did was for nothing! Thats why it is so important to not only know how to research correctly…but to always research your niche before getting everything else started.
