Ok so I guess I don’t need to give my name here like usual, with it being all over this blog. I call my self a student to the Internet because that is what I feel I am. I am constantly learning and building my empire. (Mpyre as I call it)

My true strengths lie in sales, negotiations, and relationship building. I have always been an entrepreneur but didn’t realize it until high school. Where I went to state championships with our business club. Even during middle school I sold various things out of my backpack. I started with Blowpops and Airheads for a quarter and when the profit margins weren’t enough I moved up to little debbie snacks. I would buy a pack, then only $0.99, and sell each for $0.50 w/10 in each pack this was good money for a 13 yr old. (sold 2-3 packs a day) ($4 profit each box x 12 boxes a week = $48)
Always being an observant person, I saw that my customers (and myself) we’re thirsty after their brownies or cakes. I saw my chance for yet another up sell here; JUICE BOXES! By 8th grade I was easily making $20 dollars a day with my junk food sales business. I would have been able to make more but you can only carry so much without teachers noticing.
I got lost for alittle while after high school but found my way back after a few embarassing jobs. (Wendy’s and College Book Store) Hey, I know the money is just as green there as anywhere else. I just knew that there was more to me then the perceived at that point. So I set out to prove it.
I got some jobs in the sales field and became a star at those jobs within a few weeks of being there. I happened to always get in trouble for re-writing the scripts! Not just that, but people would start asking me for my scripts and then use them. The floor manager, who wrote the original scripts, I guess was offended. There was a huge meeting where I was pointed out as “the reason sales teams crumble.” Some bullcrap about having to have pat systems that are tested, tested, and re-tested. Well I guess they forgot that the key in testing is to use what works and scrap al that doesn’t! That manager was never the same after that meeting, so I quit. I was tired of selling someone elses product for only 35% commission anyways. I knew I could get 100% commission if I sold my own product. I also wanted to work from home.
This when I taught myself web development. My grandfather had taught me the very basics in 9th grade, and I somewhat played with it thru high school. Pity too because this was during the .com BOOM, I coulda made zillions! (why didn’t someone wake me up!) So I took what he taught me and started learning the new technology and standards. This was in Feb. of 2006, today you are reading my blog about professional web design, Internet Marketing, and Entrepreneurship. I am a super fast study, with a nack and passion for all things strategical. It helps that I have an addictive/obsessive personality also.
